Gimpy was born with bad Patellas. He is the first puppy I have ever seen born this way in 23 years. It was discovered by 4 weeks of age once he became mobile and he was x-rayed at 5 weeks of age to eliminate any other causes of his uneven gait. He needs to be re-assessed once fully grown (8-10 months) and likely have the condition corrected surgically. This, hopefully, can be done along with his neutering to save him from having to be under anesthesia twice and to reduce costs. He currently plays, runs, and in his own way 'jumps' (over the door jam) and is in EVERY way a happy healthy boy. He moves normal at speed and as he slows, his impairment is noticable.
He is fully vaccinated and is awaiting re-assessment. His purchase price has been reduced to reflect his future needs. The QR code to the right links to video of Gimpy moving about our kitchen with some of our other dogs.
